Kenley commercial awning for Aquum, Clapham

This large Kenley commercial awning has been installed at the comprehensively refurbished  Aquum Cocktail Bar in Clapham. The Kenley commercial awning is the  strongest of all our folding-arm awnings, being  robust enough to give protection to large areas it was ideal for this 11.00 meter long shop front and has an extension of 2.5 meters. The awning can be retracted and is then enclosed entirely within its own housing ensuring complete protection against the elements. The branding on the valance of the awning has been boldly applied using our RAGS® unique graphics process with the name of the venue and other essential contact information. In warmer weather the combination of decking, awning and windbreaks will provide a perfect outside area for socialising. Electric operation is essential with such a large awning as this and we also recommend the addition of a potentiometer wind sensing device for additional safety and security.

Recently re-launched as a late night drinking, dining and dancing destination following a complete and extensive refurbishment Aquum Cocktail Bar is fast becoming the place to be seen in Clapham.  The venue features a dedicated restaurant offering with an exciting and sophisticated menu of contemporary Greek dishes and innovative cocktails, all whilst retaining its signature party feel. At the newly re-launched venue, Aquum’s diverse cocktail list of classics, sharing drinks and house infused shooters will be joined by a dedicated list of unusual Greek cocktails, along with selected Greek wine and beer.

Originally known as Clopeham, Clapham was originally a Hamlet on the ancient Roman Road from London to Chichester and one original cobble stone from this road was discovered during building operations at Clapham Common and this is now proudly located at the library.  Notable historical figures Samuel Pepys and Elizabeth, wife of the explorer Captain James Cook both spent the latter part of their lives in Clapham in the 1700’s.
