New Deans Shop Blind For Camden Market Edge

The Market Edge in Camden Town has recently been extensively updated and a new Traditional Deans shop blind has been installed to add to the authenticity of the entrance. With its hardwood awning box and black arms the awning is absolutely in keeping with the nature of the site.

On Wednesday and Saturday the market is open from 8.00 a.m. until 6.00 p.m. On Sundays the hours are 11.00 am until 6.00 pm. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday vintage clothing is sold from 9.00 am until 6.00 pm.

Camden Town was first set out as a residential district at the end of the 18th century. It was  originally part of the manor of Kentish Town and the parish of St Pancras, London. Camden Town was a very important business area due to its proximity to the London canal network and then more so with the development of the rail.

Originally and industrial area Camden Town is now renowned for retail, tourism and entertainment attractions. The area now hosts street markets and music venues which are strongly associated with alternative culture.
