SQ2 Recessed Awning by Deans, Seamless Architectural Design
Manufactured by us especially for commercial, architectural, new build, or renovation projects, the SQ2 recessed awning has unique properties that make it particularly favoured by Designers and Main Contractors alike. Whilst there are a number of awnings on the market claiming to be recessed, in fact, they all, apart from the SQ2, protrude from the fascia by a greater or lesser extent, even when retracted.
The clever British design of the SQ2 front profile and connecting mechanism has been brilliantly created by our designers, and perfected in our London factory, to be completely recessed and thus flush with a building’s facade. This feature is especially important for installations in historic areas, where planning restrictions are present, and also for ultra-modern commercial projects where less is always more.
Behind this modern design is a robust, retractable, folding awning manufactured with bespoke drop forged and extruded alloy components. Other critical parts are made from stainless steel. This combination creates a reliable, maintenance-free awning which can be manually or remotely controlled. The fabric awning cover is frequently branded to client specification through the means of the Deans RAGS® digital graphics process.
