Greenwich® Awning Installed at the Tokkia Matcha House in Seven Dials, London
This traditional Greenwich® awning, chosen by the owners of Tokkia, complements the historical context of their Matcha, hand-prepared, ground tea drink, which is made from leaves grown on Jeju Island.
The Greenwich® traditional awning, manufactured right here in our East London factory, could not have been a better choice for this business, situated in the centre of the historic 17th-century Seven Dials district.
The Greenwich® retractable awning is a robust design, ideal for commercial use in all but the most severe weather. It is operated with an easy-to-use cranked gear, and the hand-formed arms raise easily to provide appropriate head clearance, allowing pedestrians to pass below comfortably.
The age of the buildings on Monmouth Street meant that a secure installation method had to be carefully considered. A comprehensive survey was carried out by our installation Team Leader, ensuring that suitable fixings were specified.
The branding for the awning valance was created digitally to ensure the Korean text was replicated correctly.
The Greenwich® Commercial Awning
An alternative to the Deans Traditional Shop Blind, the Greenwich Awning offers the same unrivalled strength and style but with cleaner, sharper lines. The fabric covered front profile and one-piece cover generate an elegant simplicity, popular with designers and architects to meet both modern and traditional stylistic requirements.
