Folding-Arm Awnings for Gardens and Patios
For many of us, spring is a time to redo our gardens and patios. As the days are getting longer and the weather warmer, we are all looking forward to spending more time outside. Alongside flowerbeds, dining sets or tiles for the patio, blinds and awnings is another great addition to any outdoor area.
At Deans we are currently busy helping residential customers with their choice of awnings. Our wide range of residential awnings offers something for every home. Among our folding-arm awnings, the Markilux 6000 is the top of the range product in the Markilux portfolio. One example is seen in the photo above from an installation in Kingston upon Thames.
Another of our popular folding-arm awnings is the Markilux 5010. Just as the Markilux 6000, this awning also covers a large area of up to 7×4 meters. Furthermore, when the awning is retracted both arms and cover is fully protected within the cassette. The awning can also be remotely controlled which is the option that the customer in the example below went for.
Another optional extra that several Markilux awnings come with is the Markilux Shadeplus feature. The Shadeplus extends the awning vertically at the front and gives protection even when the sun is low. This is an extra that our customer in the bottom example ordered with her Markilux 1600 Stretch.
At the moment, folding-arm awnings continue to leave our workshop for residential customers throughout the UK. With every delivery we trust that each awning will come to great use and that spring will continue to let us spend more time outside.
