Five Greenwich® Hotel Awnings Installed at the Voco London – Bloomsbury
Located at the junction of Cosmo Place and Great Ormond Street, the Bloomsbury Square Hotel is perfectly positioned for visiting Key London landmarks such as the British Museum, Covent Garden and Oxford Street.
With this in mind, the branding of their five new Greenwich® awnings was an opportunity for the Hotel to stand out against the cornucopia of visual attractions to be seen at this historic location, with its multiple Regency and Victorian buildings.
The key attraction of the Greenwich® retractable awning is its traditional appearance combined with modern construction that requires little or no maintenance.
The all-aluminium frame is powder-coated in-house with a high-impact resin finish to withstand the atmospheric conditions at this very busy location.
Our client specified manual crank operation, but remote, wireless controls may be specified, with climate sensitivity as a further option.
An interesting request by the client was for a castellated valance to be incorporated in the main cover, which also concealed the front awning profile. We hand-cut the shape and finished it with matching trim.
