Six Bespoke Greenwich® Restaurant awnings for 74 Duke, Mayfair
These 6 Greenwich® Restaurant awnings, recently installed at the new 74 Duke restaurant in London’s Mayfair, presented challenges which were overcome with the aid of our CAD-based design Team and state-of-the-art, laser-driven metal fabrication facility.
The lovely old building on the corner of Duke St and Brown Hart Gardens presented many challenges for awning installation due to the irregular facia and numerous columns, corbels and pilasters present.
Careful measurements were taken of all these details and appropriate brackets were designed and fabricated in-house, then powder coated to a high gloss impact-resistant finish. These special brackets, neatly concealed behind the awning’s deco boxes, enabled secure installation whilst retaining the classic lines of our modern take on the traditional Victorian awning.
The Greenwich® retractable awning is an ideal choice for restaurants and cafés. Due to its robust construction, the awning provides pavement dining facilities, giving customers cover in all but the most adverse weather conditions.
A commercial awning with robust construction makes the Greenwich® an excellent vehicle for providing branding opportunities by signposting customers whilst maximising the business demesne opportunities.
