Victorian awnings for Historic Soho Pub

One of Soho’s most historic pubs, the Marquess of Anglesey, named after a hero of Waterloo who lost a leg in the Crimean War “Charge of the Heavy Brigade”. The pub is now owned by Youngs who share a history with Deans in that they were both established in the 19th Century, Victorian Era.

The Victorian awnings installed here have a decidedly modern slant as the upper-level awnings are controlled by remote wireless switching. Deans’ Victorian awnings are still hand made in our London factory in time honoured style. However, modern materials and digital design, ensure accuracy of construction with finishes which are resistant to the atmospheric conditions of today’s cities.
