Traditional Awning Installed at So French, Marylebone
Seymour Place in Marylebone is renowned as the heart of London’s trendy restaurant area and the new “So French” bistro is a welcome addition. The traditional awning we have recently installed fits neatly within a hardwood recess, which was created specifically for this purpose.
The recessed awning’s traditional hardware comprises a hardwood lath and custom-made, authentic black Victorian side arms which have been powder-coated in our London workshop. The combination creates a robust product which will withstand the rigours of daily use in this busy location.
French blue, water-based, paint has been used for the traditional awning box which matches the weather-resistant, solution-dyed awning fabric. The use of our RAGS®, CAD-based branding design platform has added a logo in white with flashes of red, to symbolise the French Tricolour.
When viewed from inside the café, the traditional awning provides a view that could almost make customers think they are on a boulevard in a French provincial setting – were it not for the passing black taxis!
