New awnings for Madeira Drive development, Brighton
These nineteen Markilux 5010 model commercial grade cassette awnings, installed here at the stunning new Soho House Beach House location on the Madeira Drive in Brighton, are a complimentary feature on the development of this historic piece of Victorian architecture. The awnings are all individually operated with covers which have been specially produced by us in alternate fabrics to create a unique Beach House look.
This project is part of the Madeira Drive Development (& Eastern Seafront Master plan) and Deans are pleased to have been chosen to be a part of this exciting project, especially since the complex was construct in the years 1890 – 1897, which coincides precisely with the founding of Deans Blinds in 1894.
The Markilux 5010 itself is of superb quality with a unitary one-piece construction with an arm extension of up to a t 4.00 meters. Available in eight powder-coated frame colours as standard with other RAL options to order. The Markilux 5010 incorporates a neat, modern, oval cassette shape which is ideal for a contemporary building project.
Located on Madeira drive, Brighton Beach House is set across two floors and takes inspiration from the surrounding seaside landscape and art deco architecture. It’s a contemporary addition to the city’s unique atmosphere and history. All around sea views, mosaic floors, outdoor pool designed by Davis Shringley in a shape of a ripe banana. Club Cecconi’s (also a client of Deans) serves all the members’ favourites.
