Marlesbury® retractable shop awnings for new Tapi branch
Tapi is a major national chain for whom we have installed three Marlesbury® retractable shop awnings at their new outlet in Peckham, South London. Deans were selected for this project as the client wanted a supplier who could design and supply bespoke awnings for their already unusually decorated shopfront, with shutters of which had been specially painted by a local graffiti artist.
It was important that we were able to produce awnings with a specific graphic which met the demanding customer branding criteria. The graphics you can see on the awnings have been created through the means of our RAGS® branding process which has ensured fine detail combined with perfect colour reproduction.
The awning box of the Marlesbury® retractable shop awning is constructed with a contemporary style protective cover which provides protection for when the awning is in the closed position thereby preventing soiling of the cover when it is rolled away. The awning boxes, as well as the awning arms and profiles, have been powder coated in the corporate Tapi colour by our own London in-house powder coating plant. The awnings are controlled by a simple crank mechanism though Marlesbury® retractable awnings can also be installed with the added feature of remote electric operation through the use of a sealed internal motor operated from a wireless switch.
