Bespoke RIB Wedge Canopies for Gaia Restaurant, Mayfair
These two bespoke RIB® wedge canopies we have installed at the internationally renowned, award-winning Gaia restaurant in Mayfair incorporate a number of cutting-edge techniques.
Due to the limited height of the fixings, the original canopy could only project a minimal distance, which was unattractive cosmetically and was ineffective in practice.
Fortunately, using Deans all-welded RIB® construction manufacturing techniques, our designers were able to propose an asymmetric design which was both aesthetically pleasing and practical in application.
The canopy is covered with an attractive Sapphire shade, UV-resistant fabric, which contrasts with fine white Gaia branding, digitally created and applied, using the in-house RAGS® technique.
Of note is the all-welded canopy framework, which has been powder coated in anodic bronze under a high temperature process to give a flawless, robust finish.
