Greenwich® Cantilever Awning for Barnaby Bars, Mayfair

The Deans Traditional Shop Blind has been a stalwart of our product range for well over a Century. Still, some customers find that whilst they love the traditional look of the Shop Blind, ease of use and simplicity of operation take priority over pure authenticity.

For such customers, we manufacture the aptly named Greenwich® Cantilever awning right here in London, and a fine example can be seen at Barnaby Handmade Chocolatier in Mayfair’s Mount Street.

Combining a traditional appearance with ease of use, the Greenwich® Cantilever awning is operated by a simple crank gear, with wireless motorisation available as an option.

This Greenwich® Cantilever retractable awning has been built into a bespoke timber box with the gear crank neatly to hand, within easy reach of a staff member. The Barnaby brand logo and script text have been applied to both the cover and valance, contrasting with the primrose fabric using our CAD-based RAGS® Graphic process.

The sculpted end cheeks of the Greenwich® are a particularly fine aesthetic feature, which is shown to great advantage when the awning is retracted, completing a tasteful addition to this elegant Mayfair shopfront.
