Deans Blinds Awarded for Best Large-Scale Commercial Shading Installation
For the second time running, Deans have won an award at the British Blinds and Shutters bi-annual Industry competition; this time for the Best Large Scale Commercial Installation.
The project chosen for this award was for our installation of 20 of our British-made Marlesbury awnings at the prestigious Valentino Flagship store in London’s West End. Our award was announced and presented to our Project Team at a Gala event which was held at the Midland Hotel, Manchester and attended by over 250 guests from within the British Blinds and Shutters Industry.
The installation of the remotely controlled Marlesbury awnings was carried out over a period of weeks during which the building was being renovated. Communication between our team, the client, their Architects and parties with Heritage interests was essential for the smooth running of the project. The fact that we have complete CAD-based design and manufacturing facilities, including metal forming, MiG and traditional welding, joinery, powder coating and a digital branding capability means that we can offer a one-stop shop for clients, whether for complex projects such as this, or for simple one-off installations.
