Fine Branding Applied to Eyelid Canopy Using the RAGS® CAD Process
This style of canopy is known by many terms, including Elliptical, Bow Shape or Semi-circle, but we think the term “Eyelid” more accurately describes this attractive canopy style. The Eyelid canopy is particularly difficult to construct as it typically requires struts of variable radii.
Our comprehensive manufacturing facility, based in London, is equipped with the technical equipment and expertise enabling us to construct such complicated shapes, in-house, on a digitally controlled former.
After forming these curved extrusions, the frame is assembled with a UV-resistant cover stapled directly to the framework, ensuring maximum strength and a tight, wrinkle-free appearance. Once the frame has been constructed, the profiles are powder-coated to a high gloss, impact-free finish in our powder-coating booth.
This particular canopy, which has been installed on a private members’ Jazz club in London’s Soho district, has been branded with an intricate scroll design and fine script text. The branding is achieved using our CAD-based RAGS® graphical process. A digital proof was supplied to the client prior to manufacture.
