At Deans Blinds, we had the privilege of creating a highly customised bespoke canopy solution for First Choice Café in Woolwich. This project required 12 individually crafted RIB Panel Canopies, each tailored to seamlessly follow the building’s unique curved façade. The client chose a bold black-and-white striped fabric, adding to the complexity, as it required precise pattern alignment across each bespoke canopy to maintain a cohesive appearance across the entire frontage.

This intricate design called for an intensive planning phase, involving comprehensive building surveys, detailed CAD drawings, and precise installation preparation. Our team worked closely with the client throughout, ensuring each bespoke canopy fit flush against the façade while capturing the desired visual impact. Given the building’s multiple elevations, we divided the project into phases, allowing us to focus meticulously on each segment’s alignment and structural integrity.

Thanks to our in-house design capabilities and the expertise of our craftsmen, we overcame the challenges of this custom build, achieving an end result that enhances both the architectural character and street presence of the café.
