Our canopies are available in many shape and sizes, from the most simple flat panel types right up to complicated shapes with multiple contours and planes. These “eyelid” canopies at The Gulshan in Fleet are one of the more basic styles though they still present a striking exclamation mark to highlight the entrance to the business itself. This is a more traditional design of commercial canopy, which has been a popular shape in the UK and across Europe for many years benefitting from a rigid structural shape and the opportunity for clear branding on its curved surfaces. This eyelid canopy we have installed at The Gulshan has been selected because of its shape which can be seen to have a Eastern flavour and has been decorated on the main panel using our unique RAGS® graphics process which ensures a crisp, clean graphic perfectly replicating the client’s branding text. The scalloped valance continues the Asian theme and the trimming tape we have used mimicks the brass colours which are a feature of many Asian designs.

Gulshan is a wealthy and prestigious neighbourhood in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. A residential area, Gulshan is now home to a number of the city’s restaurants, shopping centres, schools and members’ clubs. The neighbourhood also hosts the majority of embassies and high commissions in Dhaka. The area was originally built with the purpose of being solely residential, however, over the years many commercial buildings have been set up. Gulshan is now a mix of a residential area with city centre shopping malls. The Gulshan city centre only consists of Gulshan, Baridhara and Banani.
