BBSA Award winners will be announced this weekend

It is only a few more days until the winners of the prestigious British Blinds and Shutters (BBSA) Excellence Awards  for 2022 will be announced. The cream of the Industry have submitted their entries and we  are delighted to have been  nominated no less than five times in three separate categories. These categories include being chosen twice for nominations for the award for “The Most Unusual use of a Solar Product”  twice in the “Best External Shading Product Category” and once in the “Best Product or Service” category.

This last category entry was for the Louis Vuitton installation where we utilised our unique RAGS® Digital Graphics process to produce a client requested specific colour for the  fabric cover which was not part of any standard fabric range. The awnings were then branded in Louis Vuitton using the same RAGS® process. This process enables our designers to combine any colour and complexity of graphic logo and even to cover a complete awning in vibrant colour and text of the client’s choosing.

In the other two categories we have received nominations for the installation of numerous bespoke, branded, promotional canopies commissioned by the Sainsbury Supermarket Group and, secondly, for a particularly interesting application of awnings  on an exclusive London residence which involved lifting six panel canopies with a crane in order for them to  be installed to a  steel pergola on the seventh floor of a residential building in the “Most Unusual use of a Solar Product Category”.

Then, in the “Best External Shading Product Category” our Finalists for an award are again for five branded retractable Greenwich® awnings installed on the London Louis Vuitton Flagship store and also for 39 Traditional bespoke branded Awnings installed to the newly renovated Royal Exchange in Central London.

In the “Best External Shading Product Category” our Finalists for an award are for five branded retractable Greenwich® awnings installed on the London Louis Vuitton Flagship store and also for 39 Traditional bespoke branded Awnings installed to the newly renovated Royal Exchange in Central London.
