RIB® Wedge canopies for The Olympic Cinema

The Olympic Studios in Barnes has returned to its original role as a cinema and now boasts two screens with superb Dolby Atmos sound, a bar and restaurant and a private members’ club, and it looks stunning especially with the new RIB® Wedge canopies we have recently installed.

Olympic Studios contacted us as a returning client after we made awnings for their café, back in 2013. They wanted their new canopies to cover the frontage of their cinema, that would match the branding and fabric of their café commercial awnings. The branding to the valances has been achieved through the means of our bespoke medium; the exclusive RAGS® graphics process, which ensures accurate logo reproduction and faithful colour representation.

RIB® Wedge canopies of the type shown here are manufactured with aluminium frames, powder coated to the required RAL shade and assembled without recourse to any plastic componentry. This process ensures a high degree of rigidity and consequent robustness making the RIB® Wedge canopy perfect for commercial applications where a permanent sign presence is required.

The RIB® Wedge canopy is a bespoke item which is always manufactured to fit precisely to the elevations of a building. The length of the canopy is infinite as, by linking a series of units, it is possible to cover a larger expanse and to even navigate difficult building features and obstacles. If required it is possible to install the canopy across different elevations and to even encircle a whole structure if required
