Recovering awnings for another long standing client

Recovering awnings is a key part of Deans Blinds service commitment to existing customers and Muriel’s Kitchen is a typical long term customer of Deans who has come back to us time after time. Recovering awnings  is a cost effective way of gaining maximum long term use  from your existing awning by changing its colour and adding a new logo or, as in this case, a completely new unique design.  The striking multi stripe design appearing on these awnings for Muriel’s’ Kitchen was created in our own graphics department using an exclusive graphics printing process. Whether recovering awnings or specifying new installations we are able to produce short or long runs so that experimental campaigns are economically viable. Deans customers need not commit to long term costs until they are absolutely sure the design is just right for their purpose.

Muriel’s Kitchen is named after the founder’s grandmother who was a fabulous and adventurous  cook  who frequently prepared meals which brought the family together.  The restaurant ambience is designed to feel like a home and is open from early morning until late serving home cooked cuisine with great ingredients at a reasonable price. Opened first in 2011 in South Kensington this venue at Pelham Street is a favourite spot for families and busy commuters.

South Kensington  was largely undeveloped until the mid-19th century, as it was primarily an agricultural area supplying London with fruit and vegetables. The area developed rapidly after the Great Exhibition in 1851 and was developed into into what became  home to  institutions dedicated to the arts and sciences, resulting in the foundation of numerous  museums and universities. On a lighter note; if you are asked at the pub quiz to name a Donovan song based on a London suburb you will now know the correct answer is “Sunny South Kensington”;  though I’m sure all you flower children of the sixties knew that already!
