The SQ2 recessed commercial awning is a brand of awning which we have developed for installation into new or refurbished shopfronts where the need for an integrated appearance is preferred. The Deans SQ2 recessed commercial awning has a number of similarities with other commercial awnings of this type but with one major difference not seen on any other commercial awning.. The front profile on our system has been designed in such a way that the front profile merges completely with the shopfront facia to present a perfectly flat plane. With this type of bespoke recessed installation, you may be using a site contractor for shopfront installation, in this case it is a good idea to involve the Deans Design Team at an early stage to ensure a sufficient fixing is available for a recessed SQ2 commercial awning.
In this example of the SQ2 commercial awning seen at José Pizarro’s we have further enhanced the installation by powder coating the awning front profile to the shop front colour which contrasts with the vibrancy of the yellow awning fabric.
Pizarro Bermondsey is José Pizarro’s second London restaurant. Found one block away from José’s original tapas bar on Bermondsey Street; close to London Bridge station. The restaurant serves a menu of small tapas style and more substantial dishes that can be served as starters and mains or as tapas for sharing. The Food is influenced by José’s passion for the best quality seasonal Spanish produce cooked in an open kitchen.
The name Bermondsey originates from an Anglo Saxon term referring to an island so the area may have been a prominent feature in the middle of a marsh back when much of the present London area was, either, under water or was a wetland. Today Bermondsey is a thriving area of shops restaurants and residencies.
