Traditional Deans shop awning for the Opera Tavern

This smart  Traditional Deans shop awning has  been installed recently at the trendy Opera Tavern in Covent Garden, central London. The fresh peach coloured awning fabric contrasts with the crisp black graphics which have been applied through the use of our bespoke bespoke RAGS® branding process. The shop awning has enabled the Opera Tavern to provide outside drinking facilities where customers can enjoy the sunshine or shelter under the shop awning in rainy weather. The boxes of the shop awnings, constructed from licensed sourced hardwood have been painted environmentally correct water based paint, to carefully blend with the traditional shop frontage. Steel and iron parts have been powder coated for resistance to weathering in our own powder coating oven. The valance option has been chosen and this option is available in a number of shaped styles from straight, seen here, to scalloped and castellated designs.

With a refreshed look and feel, Opera Tavern is a trendy and inviting tapas bar and restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden’s theatre land. Downstairs, striking graphic prints by artists such as Ben Eine compliment the stylish bar, counter seating and communal table, with a warm and atmospheric first floor dining space above. The perfect place to enjoy tapas in London, the Opera Tavern will transport you straight to the bustling bars and restaurants of Spain and Italy.

Catherine Street, originally known as Brydges Street, was first laid out by Francis Russell, 4th Earl of Bedford, in the 1630s. The street is part of the theatre district of London’s West End and includes the Theatre Royal Drury Lane on the corner with Russell Street, the Duchess Theatre on the west side and the Novello Theatre on the corner with Aldwych. All three theatres are listed buildings with Historic England.
