Canopies do not always have shade and solar control as their primary function. We had previously installed fixed panel canopies for H&M Home at Westfield White City and the client was so pleased they asked us to repeat the project, but this time the panel canopies had to be installed in their Flagship Copenhagen store. In order to achieve this our Senior Project Consultant had to fly to Denmark to meet with the designers and carry out a comprehensive site survey. After manufacture the panel canopies could not practically be transported to site by any normal carrier so our installation team undertook the 1600 mile round trip and carried out the installation on schedule and within budget The uncluttered design of the panel presents a three dimensional feature to the shopfront which is especially suitable for the application of striking graphics, in this case the H&M Home geometric design in white contrasts with the basic black fabric. The graphic appearing on the panel canopies was produced in Deans’ own graphics department on our unique RAGS® system of bespoke graphics transfer.

Copenhagen’s most famous landmark is the Little Mermaid, a bronze statue by Edvard Eriksen, depicting a mermaid becoming human. The sculpture is displayed on a rock by the waterside at the Langelinie promenade. Sadly, In recent decades it has become a popular target for defacement by vandals and political activists.
