Deans traditional shop blinds and awnings have been manufactured by us for over 125 years and we still make them in pretty much the same way with just a few exceptions. We no longer use lead based paint (!) which is hardly surprising, but we also today use only water based paint finishes in line with our environmental commitments. The arms used to be painted, again with oils based paints, but now we use the much more resilient and better finished powder coating process which is carried out at our own powder coating plant. Despite these changes our Deans Traditional shop blinds still meet the same aesthetic appearance criteria but with all the advantages of modern technology.
These particular Deans Traditional shop blinds are installed at the newly refurbished Brumus Bar & Restaurant at The Haymarket Hotel. Open all day, Brumus serves seasonal cuisine and fabulous cocktails, as well as the old favourites, bar plates and our delicious Afternoon Tea.
The Haymarket hotel is situated on the corner of Haymarket and Suffolk Place in the heart of London’s theatre district. It is next door to the famous Haymarket Theatre Royal near to some of London’s best hot spots. Ideally situated for Mayfair, Regent Street and Jermyn Street shopping and the National Gallery, which is just around the corner. St. James’s Park is a short amble away and London’s financial centre is a short underground ride away. The Haymarket is one of a collection of classic Firmdale Group Hotels designed by Kit Kemp.
