How To Fit Your Awnings

Your awning will be delivered with comprehensive instructions but this page is just to give you a flavour of the installation process so that you can decide whether the job is within your DIY skills.

You will need the following tools if fitting your awning to brick or concrete:

Power hammer drill and 14 mm masonry drill bit
Spirit level
Mallet
Chalk line
Tape Measure
A few ring spanners
Two steady step ladders
Stiff brush

The four basic steps

1. Un-pack your awning and set it before the window

2. Mark the fixing position, make sure ladder is steady.

3. Mount the brackets

4. Install the awning and make adjustments. Retract in windy conditions.
