Venetian Blinds

Venetian blinds are a familiar sight to everyone and venetian blinds have been used in some form for many years. A rigid headrail carrying horizontal slats which can be from steel, wood or aluminium, houses the controls for raising and lowering the slats and also for tilting the venetian blinds to a desired angle.

The venetian blind slats can vary in width from 15mm up to 50mm and these various sizes attract different names such as "micro", "mini" etc. but these names are non-technical terms and the actual size should always be specified.

Operation for venetian blinds can be from the most simple cord lock to sophisticated automatic controls.
