Roller Blinds

Roller blinds may be the most common and simple form of sunblind - but there is a good reason for this - roller blinds are attractive, effective, economical and simple to operate.

The roller blind can be operated in a number of different ways but the direct drive chain-operated friction unit has taken over from the older spring roller as the most reliable and easiest method of operation.

The simplicity of the roller blind system lends itself to a vast range of fabric coverings and trim finishes and fabrics may be washable, flame retardent or blackout and can, in many cases roller blinds can be matched to Deans range of vertical louvre blind materials.

The latest type of roller blind material available (the SPC range) has been developed to give precise levels of heat and light absorption which can be specified according to on site requirements. This means that in special areas such as VDU operating rooms light can be adjusted with the use of roller blinds to provide optimum health levels.
