Since 1894, Deans Blinds and Awnings, who were originally called Deans of Putney, London, have been synonymous with all types of awning and exterior blinds - from the simple traditional Victorian style to the latest modern external electric awning or canopy with solar control. the name Deans says it all; we have been manufacturing and installing the highest quality external blinds for customers since the year 1894! These type of sun shade canopies or structures have been used  for solar control for centuries and Deans have been making them for nearly 120 years.

Deans are a London based, owner managed, manufacturing business. The London factory includes a custom graphics department, fabrication and carpentry, meaning 90% of their work is done in-house. Despite being based in London, Deans also manage contracts for their quality products natiionwide for a number of major retail and brewery chains. Deans are also specified by LEAs and Councils for school installations around the country.

Quality in manufacturing is assured in our 12,000 square foot factory in Wandsworth, South London. Right from the most modern, sophisticated, electronically controlled, streamlined retractable cassette awning all the way to traditional Deans Victorian awning and Victorian shop blinds, which are all made for you in our carpenters shop to the same exacting standards the customer demanded back in the 19th Century.

Repairs and renovation

Deans also provide replacement awning fabric and renovation services. You may perhaps be re-branding your awning and want a new colour or graphic, or your old patio sunblindmay be in need of a new fabric to freshen things up. Your exterior blinds may need servicing by an expert from time to time to ensure their safety and reliability.  Deans can arrange this repair and renovation service.
